Ⅰ, slow charge activation method
Principle: The use of low current charging allows the chemical substances inside the battery to have enough time to reactivate and react evenly, avoiding the damage that may be caused by high current charging.
Operation steps: Connect the lithium battery to the charger that matches its rated voltage, and set the current of the charger to a lower level (usually 0.1C-0.2C, C is the unit of battery capacity, such as the battery capacity is 1000mAh, 0.1C is 100mA). Continue charging for a period of time, which may take several hours or even longer, during which time to see if the battery voltage rises. When the voltage rises to a certain level (usually above about 3V), the battery is likely to be activated.

How it works: By sending a series of pulsed electric currents to the battery, these pulses can help break up passivation layers that may form on the battery plate, allowing ions inside the battery to move freely again, thus activating the battery.
Operation steps: This method usually requires a professional pulse charger. Connect the lithium battery to the pulse charger, and set the appropriate pulse parameters, such as pulse width, pulse interval and pulse amplitude, according to the user manual of the charger. Then turn on the charger to charge, and pay attention to the changes in battery voltage and temperature during the process.
Ⅲ. Parallel activation method
Principle: A lithium battery of the same specification and sufficient power is used in parallel with the dormant lithium battery, so that the healthy battery can deliver a certain amount of electricity to the dormant battery, increase its voltage, and thus activate the dormant battery.
Procedure: Ensure that the specifications (such as voltage and capacity) of the two batteries are identical. Connect the positive electrode of the two batteries to the positive electrode and the negative electrode to the negative electrode. After connecting, let them remain connected for a period of time, generally a few hours later, check whether the voltage of the dormant battery has returned to normal. However, this method should pay attention to the fastness of the connection and the positive and negative electrodes of the battery to avoid short circuit.
In the process of activating lithium batteries, the following points need to be noted:
1. Safety first: Lithium batteries may overheat, smoke or even burn in some cases. Therefore, the activation process should be carried out in a well-ventilated place, and fire-fighting equipment (such as fire extinguishers, etc.) should be placed next to it.
2. Temperature control: try to activate the operation in a suitable temperature environment (generally 0-45 degrees Celsius).
